Once Upon A Nation Storytelling Benches

Award-winning storytelling benches are stationed across Philadelphia’s Historic District, where uniformed storytellers share free 3-to-5-minute tales of real people and events at the spots where they happened. Benches sit at landmarks including the Independence Visitor Center, Independence Square, Signer’s Garden, Second Bank, Carpenters’ Hall, Franklin Court, Christ Church, the Betsy Ross House, and the National Constitution Center. Free; Tuesdays–Saturdays, 11am–4pm.
