Independence Day Parade of Churches and Sunday Schools (Manayunk/Roxborough)
Billed as America’s oldest continuous Independence Day parade (founded 1831): churches, floats, wagons and bands process up Lyceum to Ridge Avenue, then disperse to picnics.
